For example, in one of Michael's training projects he was contacted to help a well-respected, Southern-based construction company reduce their contractor "punchlist" callbacks. The callbacks were negatively impacting manager and contractor time resources and delaying building schedules. By first listening to the client's specific callback issues and understanding the client's core value of delivering excellent customer service, Michael helped the managers and contractors develop specific interpersonal communication skills — and couple those skills with specific media tools — to reduce the callbacks, saving time and money.

Political Communication

In this area of our consulting work, Dr. Michael Angelo Colgan applies a unique journalism-based expertise in political messaging and candidate training that is grounded in his political communications research. For example, in one campaign, Aspire Street began working with the candidate for nearly a year before the election. Collaborating closely with this challenger candidate on professional communication skills, speech presentation and media relations, our client first won the primary race against the long-term incumbent and went on to win the election with support from across the political spectrum and diverse constituencies.
